What this covers
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (local storage) that My Food Fate places on your device, what each one does, and how you control them. It applies to this website and is written to meet the EU/UK GDPR and ePrivacy rules, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, Canada's PIPEDA, Brazil's LGPD and the Australian Privacy Act.
Your choices
Everything that is not strictly necessary is switched off until you opt in, and refusing is always as easy as accepting. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — the site works fully either way.

Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to function. These do not need consent and cannot be turned off.
- Preferences — optional convenience storage beyond the features you actively use. None in use today.
- Analytics — we use Google Analytics (cookies _ga and _ga_*, kept up to 2 years) to count visits. It only loads with your consent.
- Marketing — we use no advertising or social media pixels. If that changes, they will only load with your consent.

Third parties
Our fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not share your IP address with a font provider. Our hosting, database and authentication providers process data on our behalf to run the site. Stripe processes payments if you subscribe, and email delivery is handled by our email provider when we send you account messages.
Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage will sign you out and may prevent lists and plans from saving.
